INNOVATIVE SOLUTION FOR TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURES

INTRODUCTION

Economic growth depends on the volume of its logistics transactions. Accessibility and quality transport infrastructure are directly proportional to a country’s level of development. Transporting a product manufactured in one province and country to other provinces and countries with a fast economic means, providing trouble-free connections via highways, railways, ports and airways, requires a high quality infrastructure. With the developed technology, NovoCrete offers a sustainable, ecological, economical and high quality floor mechanics system. NovoCrete is a powder made from 100% mineral components containing alkaline and alkaline earth constituents. Combined with Portland Cement Type 1, Type 2 and optimal water content, it increases crystal formation during the cement hydration process resulting in higher tensile strength and significantly improved elasticity. NovoCrete, an environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable mineral, neutralizes PH levels and provides a higher degree of water impermeability. The stabilized layers generate a very high tensile force which allows the absorption of vibrations from trucks and equipment. These layers create the elasticity that allows vibratory movement.

– Composition: 100% minerals containing alkaline and alkaline-earth constituents. Contains natural minerals, oxides, chlorides, sulphates and carbonates.
– Description: White mineral powder, non-toxic, non-toxic to health and environmentally friendly.
– Origin: Made in Germany.
– Application: Stabilization and compaction of almost all types of soils including clay, sand, shale, oil shale, saline soils, soils containing organic matter and soils found to be contaminated by analysis.
– Mechanism :Added in a standard cement in a ratio of 2 – 2.5% and mixed with soil, NovoCrete neutralizes existing acids and supports the dewatering process by allowing longer crystals.
– Characteristics of soils stabilized by NovoCrete: It can transform almost any type of soil into a very strong and typical base layer of 150MN /m2 without replacing the existing soil. (for a stabilized surface of 30 cm thickness. The stabilized surface prevents the penetration of water or ice. As a result, the physical lifetime of the stabilized layer increases significantly and does not require maintenance costs for a long time. The stabilized surface is resistant to oil, salt, acids and chemicals.

– Fields of application:
– Construction of roads and highways.
– Sidewalks, bicycle paths, forest roads and farm roads.
– Access routes for the oil, ga and wood industries.
– Establishment of base layers under hall floors.
– Traffic lanes and parking areas.
– Railways.
– Tunnels and construction of sewer systems.
– General foundations.
– Parking, container storage points, logistics centers.
– Port premises and wharves.
– storage for wood, metal, etc…
– Bioga storage facilities and ones.
– Stabilization of dikes.
– Slope reinforcement, grouting, dam.
– Landfill sites, waste disposal sites.
– Etc

Base and waterproof surfaces When water penetrates the traditional layer, the compression is corrupted. NovoCrete allows the water to be water repellent. Thus, there will be no potholes, no damage, no frost-causing deviation.

Applicable on most soil types NovoCrete can be applied on most soil types. Soils can include clay, sand, shale and even oil shale. Single grain sands or organic materials can be stabilized. Soils with a high salt content can also be stabilized with NovoCrete. The only exception is peat.

No maintenance required Ease of treatment (can be treated up to -6 With Novocrete, repair costs decrease considerably because these roads do not require maintenance. There are no potholes to fill. There are fewer sites in the asphalt layer. The service life will be significantly longer.

Ecological NovoCrete is an ecological product. Contaminated soil can be stabilized and used in the new stabilized layer. Able to rebuild roads by crushing the layer in the soil, NovoCrete is more environmentally friendly than traditional methods.

1 CO2 savings Less impact on the environment from a significant reduction of
– transport of equipment
– material transport
– use of machinery (hours of work)
– General traffic (deviations and traffic jams)

2 100% recyclable Use of
– purely mineral materials
– non-toxic
– non-toxic components

3 Material savings Reduction of new layers in the treatment of existing materials such as
– existing old asphalt layers
– existing old base layers
– in-situ soil materials instead of applying natural resources

4 Fixed assets
The soil stabilization process
– immobilizes hazardous substances
– makes contaminated soil usable

5 Groundwater protection Active protection due to
– impermeable and waterproof surfaces
– compliance with the limit values of the Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkWV – German regulation

6 Durability Intensification of quality compared to traditional construction methods, resistant and long-lasting results
– significantly reduced maintenance costs
– reduced layer thickness compared to traditional methods
– landfill economics
– reduced waste disposal expenses
– resource protection
– possibility of complete dismantling of stabilized layers

Quality Assurance
– Creation of specimen on the site
– Execution of a dynamic weight drop test
– Test using a Troxler probe
– Execution of a static load plate bearing test
